Sauna and Ice Bath Rules
Prior to using the sauna or ice bath, all participants must ensure they are in good health and free from any medical conditions that may be aggravated by heat or cold exposure. Individuals with heart conditions, high blood pressure, or other medical concerns should consult a physician before use.
Drink plenty of water before, during, and after sauna or ice bath sessions to stay hydrated.
Proper attire must be worn at all times in the sauna and ice bath area. Participants should wear swimwear or suitable clothing that can withstand the temperature changes.
Sauna and ice bath sessions should not exceed recommended time limits. Typically, sauna sessions should last no longer than 30-45 minutes, and ice bath sessions should be limited to 5-10 minutes.
Be aware of the temperature settings and adjust them to personal comfort levels. If feeling dizzy, lightheaded, or uncomfortable, exit the sauna or ice bath immediately.
Showering before entering the sauna or ice bath helps to remove oils, lotions, and impurities from the skin, promoting a more effective session. Showering after use helps to cool down the body and remove sweat.
Be considerate of other users. disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
Food and beverages are not permitted in the sauna or ice bath area to maintain cleanliness and prevent accidents. Only water allowed in the sauna rooms.
The use of alcohol or drugs before or during sauna and ice bath sessions is strictly prohibited due to the increased risk of dehydration and accidents.
Pregnant women and individuals with medical conditions should consult with a physician before using the sauna or ice bath.
After completing a sauna or ice bath session, allow the body to cool down gradually before exiting the facility. Take a cool shower and rest if necessary.
Children under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult while using the sauna or ice bath.
The use of the sauna and ice bath facilities is at the participant’s own risk. The facility and its staff are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or medical conditions that may occur during or after usage.

Please arrive early, especially if it’s your first session so we can show you how everything works.
Aim for 11 minutes of cold exposure each week, alongside at least one hour of heat, in three to four separate sessions for maximum benefit.
Yes! Infrared saunas, ice bath rooms and shower facilities are completely private!
Each infrared sauna and plunge are set in its own room.
Of course! Book in a 2-person session online or email us and you can pay the difference on arrival ($30 extra per person).
Up to 4 people can be booked into this experience at once.
For the sauna we recommend you wear underwear or bathers. You will sweat a lot, so you want to be comfortable. Remember to wear loose fitting clothes for after your session.
For the plunge we recommend you wear bathers or something you don’t mind getting wet.
A water bottle to stay hydrated, we will provide fresh cold-water refills.
You’re more than welcome to bring your own towel but we do provide luxury laundered towels for each session.
No. Not only will it block your pores and decrease your sweat, it will stain the wood.
Yes, you can. Just be mindful it will get hot.
Saunas are cleaned after each use with, low toxic products. The saunas are made from Canadian hemlock wood, which is naturally antibacterial. Infrared lighting is also a natural disinfectant. Ice Baths are fitted with UV sanitisation system Ozone filtering with 50-micron filter.
If you need to cancel your service, please do so as soon as possible.
Cancellations within 12 hours for iv infusions & infrared sauna – ice bath service incur a 50% charge of the price. If you do not give notice, give less than 1 hour prior to an appointment, or do not show for an appointment, you will be charged at the full price of the scheduled appointment.
Ultimate recovery lounge reserves the right to charge for appointments cancelled less than 12 hours prior to the scheduled start time.
